Made from 100% Shiraz grown in Williamstown in the Barossa Valley.The wine was fermented in open fermenters and pressed when dry and transferred to 15% new French oak hogsheads and 85% pre-used French oak hogsheads.

After aging for 18 months in oak the wine was bottled without filtering or fining.The 2005 Winter Creek Shiraz has aromas of dark berries and spice, dark cherries and chocolate. These aromas follow onto a palate which is mouth filling with the spices and cherries evident and a structure that has crisp acid and firm tannins.
