Fruit sourced from the cool Adelaide Hills has been used in this outstanding wine. It was fermented in stainless steel and bottled early to retain freshness. The wine displays intense aroma of fresh tropical fruits and passionfruit. These aromas lead on to a satisfying crisp and clean palate.

WINTER CREEK 2005 CHARDONNAY
Grown in the cool Adelaide Hills, 20% of this Chardonnay has been aged in new French oak. The wine has subtle oak flavours and the fruit is very apparent. There are aromas of stone fruits and cashew nuts leading to a crisp and mouthfilling finish.

WINTER CREEK 2004 SHIRAZ
Made from 100% Shiraz grown in Williamstown
in the
Barossa Valley.
The wine was fermented in open fermenters and pressed when dry and transferred to 15%
new French oak hogsheads and 85% pre-used French oak hogsheads. After aging for 18 months
in oak the wine was bottled without filtering or fining.
The colour is rich, dark red purple with aromas of pepper, spice, dark cherries and chocolate. These aromas follow onto a palate which is mouthfilling with the spices and cherries evident and a structure that has crisp acid and firm tannins.

WINTER CREEK 2004 “THE OLD BAROSSA BLEND” GRENACHE SHIRAZ
A blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Shiraz grown at
Williamstown in the Barossa Valley.
After fermenting in open fermenters as separate parcels of fruit, each wine was transferred to
100% pre-used French oak hogsheads and aged for 12 months before bottling without filtering or fining.
The wine is a deep red purple with aromas of cherry and strawberry from the Grenache component.
The Shiraz contributes a firm tannin finish to the structure increasing palate length. A great wine with food.

WINTER CREEK 2005 FORTIFIED VINTAGE SHIRAZ
Made from very ripe Shiraz grapes grown on our vineyard at Williamstown in the Barossa Valley. The wine was fortified with brandy spirit and aged in old French oak for 9 months. The wine is very intense and dark, smelling of licorice and blackcurrents with these aromas leading to an intense and satisfying palate. This wine will age well for many years.
